Harris Home Photo Essay

The Home Paul & Jean Friends Gardens Rotary Room Today
The home Paul built for his bride, Jean Thomson, of Edinburgh, Scotland was named after a street near her home, Comely Bank. As you explore the writings or Paul Harris and read the history of Rotary, you'll find that the founder of Rotary was a visionary, romantic, peacemaker. He loved his wife, his friends, and their "Children" which were embodied in the creation and phenomenal success of Rotary International.

What this home represented was a place of friendship, from the Garden to the many images shown below. Rotary today needs this haven of neighborliness to resume the healing, contemplation, and nurturing in our age. Comely Bank is monument to friendship and more.

You can be inspired by the life and legacy of Paul Harris! You can also become a patron of what this home represented and can continue to accomplish today.
